Very little is known about Saitoh's family in the anime and manga, but here's what we are aware
of.
Wife, Tokio Fujita - Saitoh only mentions her one time on the way to Kyoto, with an
expression on his face that has to be seen because it's too hard to discribe. Kenshin and
Misao are pretty shocked that the Wolf even has a wife, and Kenshin says, "She must be
like Buddha, because no ordinary woman could be his wife!" Otherwise, we know nothing else
of the woman named Tokio from the anime.
Adopted "Son", Eiji - This is that little kid who appears in the same episode Saitoh
mentions his wife in. His family was killed by Shishio's pawns, and his brother was a spy on
the police force. He's the little brash one. Saitoh takes him home for Tokio to look after,
but he's not blood-related to Saitoh.
Children - The real Hajime Saitoh did have three children, however the anime does not
mention any of his children or how many he has.
