Personality

Aoshi's not exactly the most friendly guy on the show. His personality is silent, dark, brooding, angsty and a bit sinister. When he gets an idea in his head, he plows through with tunnel vision, practically. Until the end of the Kyoto Arc, he has no trouble killing, nor does it bother him. However, aside from being a dark character, Aoshi is extremely loyal to his four friends, even if he's not as loyal to Okita or Misao. After the Kyoto Arc, he's still a quiet character, but he's not hell-bent on killing or getting killed, and he's a bit more philosophical.
